The year 2016 marked the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan, and with the support of the Victorian Government, the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia (Victorian branch) conducted a wide range of functions and commemorative services throughout that year.

The book (and accompanying dvd)Victoria Remembers Vietnam was published as a component of the VVAA (Vic) and Victorian Government partnership for that commemorative year.
