New members are encouraged to join.
OEM has one of the largest and most active Sub-branches in Victoria. Membership of OEM not only provides the opportunity to support mates, but offers a range of services and advice, as well as the opportunity to participate in a large range of activities, functions and events.
Wives/partners of veterans are also very much encouraged to join our Sub-branch as "Full" or "Associate" Members. Female membership is currently well in excess of 100. A very active "Eastern Veterans Wives Group" operates independently. See the "Eastern Veterans Wives Group" page for more information.
Further information and details are located on the Membership page.

At OEM we actively support and promote the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia mission "to assist all veterans, dependants and their descendants in all matters relating to their health, welfare and well being" within the Outer Eastern Melbourne, Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges region of Victoria and beyond. We place a strong emphasis on “grass roots welfare” both "proactive" and "reactive" and focus on the social inclusion and community engagement of our members.
The OEM enjoys a large and growing membership of Vietnam Veterans, their wives and dependants, as well as a number of Associate Members. OEM is very welcoming of new members, many of whom form close friendships with like minded members from within our organisation. Please click on the images above to overview the range of services and activities undertaken and which have given rise to OEMs' popularity and reputation as the "family friendly" Sub-branch.
